We’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky

Personally, I think we are all diamonds.

No this isn’t hippie talk or anything like that, it’s me being 100% optimistic me.

I think that we are all diamonds but some of us forget that we need to be polished from time to time so they only shine for a brief period of time and others see themselves as the rough stone and never realize that with just a little bit of effort, they could become a faceted gem.

This year has been one of the worst yet best years of my life, and I look at the bad parts as me just being made into a prime cut diamond.

Do you know that they put diamonds in acid to make them beautiful? They are also cleaved and bruited – so basically diamonds go through hell before they become a treasure that is desired by most.

I’m just saying that I’m looking at the bad times as a brazen attempt by the universe to turn me into a well cut diamond.

I’m going to listen to Rihanna with this one.
