Life Lessons That I’ve Learnt From Playing FIFA
1. Sometimes you just have to be fearless
and go for the goal no matter how hopeless it seems. Who knows, you just might
score.
2. Admit when you need help, when you are
under pressure be sure to ask for assistance from the person it would be most
convenient for.
3. You can’t get much done if you’re
always on the defensive. You either have to get up and do something or wait
until you eventually lose.
4. Just because things seem a little
bleak does not mean that’s how the match will end.
5. If you miss the goal once, you
shouldn’t be discouraged to try again immediately.
6. Practice does eventually make perfect,
you might lose 4-0 today and win 5-0 tomorrow.
7. Optimism is very important or you’ll
never bother trying, mentality plays a big role in how things turn out
8. Things will rarely be perfect; you
shouldn’t let that stop you.
9. It’s not about the team you are
playing with, it’s about the skills you have.
10. Challenge yourself; make things just a
little bit harder for yourself, that way you’ll grow.
11. (For girls) A guy that likes you (like that) will not beat you with
maximum 5 goal difference.
12. Whoever you are, few people are
willing to go the extra mile to teach you how to play, so you have to learn the
majority of it on your own.
13. What you think would be ideal, might
not be. For example, Barcelona is my #1 team but I play better with Man United
(a team I neither like, nor dislike).
14. Do not underestimate your opponent
15. You
should try different things, you will either improve or learn what NOT to do.
16. When things aren't going your way it's
best to take a break and breath, before you do something stupid like break your
controller.
17. Do
not limit yourself. Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't play. &
just because he has been playing for longer than I have does not mean I will
lose.
18. Be
the person who has 10 attempted shots instead of 2.
19. HOWEVER it would be better if those 10 shots
are actually on target
20. Don't
take things too seriously, it's just a game.
