L.O.V.E According To An 18 Year Old Girl

At the core, love is a feeling of deep affection.Nothing more, nothing less.Every person adds their twist which stem expectations about it.By that definition, everybody loves differently.A while ago, I asked myself the following, and now have an answer:

" How easy can it be to do something like that? It makes me wonder what it really means to love somebody, that you give them this power to break your heart and you trust them with it, completely. How can you trust people when they all hurt you? "

I agree with the statement "We accept the love that we think we deserve".
I believe that because of this, the love we accept is a reflection of how we see ourselves.
Therefore to truly love another in the best way that we can, we need to love ourselves.

To love somebody means to accept them as they are.
It does not mean looking past flaws, but looking straight at them and loving them none the less.
To love somebody means to see beauty in the parts of them that are not beautiful to the world.
It means trying to make somebody better, yet unwilling to change their core.
It means putting your loved one's feelings before yours when it counts, but remembering to care for your own.
Love is simple.
Love is grand.
Love is biblical.
It is indeed patient and kind.
Love is perfect, but those who feel it are not.
Because of that love also means suffering.
It means pain.
It means holding on.

Love is what you do.
It's how you forgive.
It's how you hold on.
It's how you kiss.
How you laugh.
How you accept.
How you show that you care.
It's how you represent it's beauty towards someone else.

Love is twisted, ugly, confusing and terrifying because we are imperfect.
But at the end of the day, that love in it's purest form is a beautiful thing.
