30 Day Blogging Challenge: Day 13
I’ve stated it multiple
times so we have indeed established that I’m a picky eater so I BET you’re wondering what I
keep in my (read my parents’) fridge.
It’s usually just me
and my mom in the house, my dad is mostly in Rundu and my brother is
currently in Grahamstown studying economics. After he left for his first semester we realized that we
both have terrible eating habits! All we usually do is snack until one of us
decide to cook.
Fun Fact: I was once given the nickname Snack Master Flex because of my eating habits! (It's cute, but it's NOT cute....)

I learnt last year
that I was genetically predisposition from observing my mom. Friday’s are then
take-out day, a long-standing tradition in my household. So, the fridge usually
just consists of baked goods, snacks like waffles, cupcakes, croissant and
leftovers from that one time in the week we decided to cook, bread, really depends on the time of the month. Oh! Oshikandela too!
My mom really likes beans from Kenya so she usually boils some and keeps them in the freezer and takes them out to fry them with onions, tomatoes and veggies when she’s in the mood to eat. All of my friends know we don’t usually keep regular water in their fridge (we’re bourgeois like that) so you’ll find flavoured water, ice tea and on occasion cooldrink/soda.
