30 Day Blogging Challenge: Day 14

3 Healthy Habits



I'm actually quite petite and I do have my share of unhealthy habits (I'll get into this later) but interestingly I have developed quite a few healthy habits that I'm actually proud of!!

- [ ] Watch What You Eat.

Right, I'm tiny so I'm probably not the best person to be getting tips for losing weight or being healthy and whatnot. My family has a history of women developing Type-2 diabetes so I try and limit the sweet things that I eat even though I have an INSANE sweet tooth. Other than that, I don't have the habit of keeping myself from eating the things that I like. I also just make the effort of eating things that I like (since my ass is so picky SMDH!) like fruits, veggies and taking in as much water as possible. I really enjoy putting herbs into my water for taste, my current favourite ones are dill and mint. Sometimes I put fruits or lemons. I'm not a big fan of cucumber water. I like homemade juices, especially ones with ginger because I love how ginger makes my body feel! 
I like spinach, broccoli, carrots no the likes so I make a point to eat those too. 

- [ ] Exercise

I walk everywhere (still on my license mission) and I like to jog! I'm pretty awkward & accident prone and and I've read that exercise helps. It's also therapeutic as hell, I recommend this to anybody with bad self destructive habits, it's puts your time and energy into something helps. I'm trying to be a more disciplined person so I'm developing a routine. Sometimes I do yoga too, those chakras have to stay on point, too! 

- [ ] Meditation.

I don't do this often enough, but I do do it so it qualifies for the list! This is taking my chakras healing and balancing to the next level. When I forget before bed I listen to deep meditative binaural beats to deal with any mental issues that I may be dealing with or to focus on a specific chakra OR I listen to general air cleansing meditations. My earphones usually come off in the middle of the night but I like to think I at least get s good hour in. I meditate with crystals sometimes, that helps.
